2014 Dodge Grand Caravan

The Dodge grand Caravan sees little change for 2014. The only change you may notice is that now it is only offered in four trims levels instead of five. Dodge has dropped the Crew trim level. Nevertheless it still offers the same quality interior, great mpg and high performance engines. All trim levels return an estimated 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan is offered in APV (American Value Package), SE, SXT and R/T trim levels. Standard features on the entry level APV includes 16-inch steel wheels, heated mirrors, dual zone climate control, second-row fold-in-floor bucket seats and a 4-speaker audio system with steering wheel-mounted audio controls, Uconnect® and an auxiliary audio jack.

The SE adds rear privacy glass, tri-zone climate control, third-row Stow ‘n Go® seats and two additional speakers. Stepping up to the SXT will add 17-inch alloy wheels, power rear windows and sliding doors, power adjustable pedals and a power rear liftgate.

Opting for the sporty R/T Grand Caravan will get you exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels, auto on/off headlamps, fog lamps, a sport-tuned suspension, sport brakes, power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery for first and second-row seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a premium 9-speaker Infinity® sound system with a 6.5-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth® and a rearview camera system. A blind-spot monitoring system, cross traffic alert and rearview sensors are also standard.

Several packages are available depending on your chosen trim that will add features like automatic wipers, Bluetooth®, an iPod®/USB interface, satellite radio, a navigation system, heated front and second-row seats, second and third-row sun shades and a trailer tow prep package. A Blu-ray entertainment system is also available but is only limited to the top trim levels.

Prices start at just $19,995, making the Dodge Grand Caravan one of the most affordable in its segment. Opt for a fully loaded R/T and you can expect a price tag of over $30 grand. Either way, if you’re in need of a reliable family vehicle that doesn’t break the bank, the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan is worthy of a top spot on your shopping list.
