The 2014 Honda Ridgeline seats up to five passengers and is offered in a single four-door crew-cab body style with generous passenger space, both up front and in the back. The carries over essentially unchanged from the outgoing model however it does see the addition of a Special Addition trim level.

Available trim levels include the RT, Sport, RTS, RTL, and SE. Standard features on the entry-level RT includes 17-inch steel wheels, AC, cruise control, full power accessories, a 60/40 split fold-up rear seat with under seat storage, a power-sliding rear window, a rearview camera and a 6-speaker AM/FM radio with a CD player and MP3/WMA capability.

The RTS includes all of the same features and amenities found in the RT but adds 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, dual-zone automatic climate control with air filtration, an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat and a 7-speaker sound system with a 6-disc in-dash CD player and auxiliary jack.

Stepping up to the top-of-the-line RTL adds 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, a sunroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats and a 115-volt AC power outlet for laptops, cell phones or other electronic devices and satellite radio.

Both the RTS and RTL feature a standard trailer harness while the RT and Sport are pre-wired for a harness. The lone factory option is a Honda Satellite-linked Navigation System™ package with voice recognition and Bluetooth®. The RTL is the only model eligible for this package.

Opting for the top-of-the-line SE, or Special Addition, will get you all of the features from the RTL plus exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels, the navigation system with voice recognition, Bluetooth, and “Special Edition” badging.

Standard safety features across the board includes a closed-box frame and reinforced body unit for enhanced crash protection, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, Brake Assist and an Electronic Brake Force Distribution system to balance brake force at each wheel. Other standard safety features include Vehicle Stability Assist® with traction control, a tire pressure monitoring system, daytime running lights, lower anchors and tethers for children, dual-stage multiple threshold front airbags, front side airbags with passenger-side occupant position detection and three-row side curtain airbags with rollover sensor.

Prices for the 2014 Honda Ridgeline start at $29,575 and climbs to over $45 grand for a fully loaded Special Edition.
