NISSAN COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE MURANO®: IT’S GOT FORM. IT’S GOT FUNCTION.
ALL THAT’S MISSING IS COMPETITION.

2015 Nissan Murano

MURANO THINKS AHEAD.
TWO VEHICLES AHEAD, IN FACT.

Inspired by the future of aerospace, Murano’s striking aerodynamic body looks as though it was shaped by the wind. The fluid profile begins with the V-Motion Grille and sweeps into a signature floating roofline that appears to hover above the cabin, and ends at rear side pillars that resemble a jet’s tail.

Available Predictive Forward Collision Warning

Murano’s so smart it can detect what you can’t see. By monitoring the distance and velocity of the vehicle in front of you, and the one in front of that one too, it can help detect potential problems. You won’t find this kind of advanced safety feature in any of Murano’s competitors.

2015 Nissan Murano Interior

Its interior is an expression of serenity We’ve redesigned the control panel to be simpler and more intuitive. Ambient lighting gives the cabin a soft, warm glow. Subtle chrome and trim accents in Brushed Silver and Jasper Pearlescent complement the Cashmere, Graphite, or Mocha Leather interior. And whether it’s a hot day or a cool night, the cabin can be waiting for you at a pleasant 72°, thanks to the Remote Engine Start System with Intelligent Climate Control. Rear passengers enjoy available outboard heated seats, plus a USB Connection Port with smartphone interface. Above you, the available expanded panoramic moonroof stretches from front to back and seems to breathe in light. An atmosphere this premium makes it easy to enjoy the journey — and might make your destination seem beside the point.

YOU’RE NOT JUST DRIVING
YOU’RE HOSTING

Murano offers you and your passengers a chance to travel in superior comfort and style. There’s pleasure in the small things, like softer headrests with just the right amount of give, and in the big things, like front and rear outboard Zero Gravity Seats. These seats were inspired by space-age technology and help take pressure off the lower back and reduce fatigue, leading the way for longer outings and spontaneous road trips. Rear passengers can recline and activate their own available heated seats, which warm you up in moments. They also have their very own first-in-class available rear USB outlet. In addition to warming up, the front seats also cool down. It’s an elevated driving experience for everyone on board.

GENEROUS SPACE
AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

It’s got space and flexibility, and a seamless way to use it all. You can nearly double your cargo volume to 69.9 cubic feet when you collapse the 60/40 split rear seats with just the pull of a lever that can be found in either the driver’s area, or the cargo area. Pull that lever again and they’ll power up automatically.

Power liftgate
For simpler loading and unloading, control Murano’s available power liftgate from your remote, the dashboard, or a button on the hatch.

WE TOOK POWER,
AND GAVE IT POLISH

Murano’s 3.5-L V6 pumps out 260-horsepower to keep you ahead of the pack when you need to be. An efficient 28 MPG[*] on the highway keeps it practical, and it doesn’t hurt to have aerodynamics that achieve a drag coefficient comparable to some sports cars.

PROTECT

When a collision is unavoidable, Nissan’s Zone Body Construction helps absorb the impact while the advanced seat belt and air bag systems help protect passengers.

Smart technologies are designed to help monitor conditions. Like a warning to let you know you’re straying from your lane, or a system that helps ensure you’re travelling on properly inflated tires.

From the sight of sleek curves to the sound of a roaring engine, old and new, she has a great love for vehicles of all makes and models. What she finds most exciting is that automakers of iconic muscle cars from the past, such as Ford and Chevrolet, are reproducing them for this generation of gearheads. Her dream car, the 1964 or 1966 Ford Mustang, is the ultimate American pony car and paved the way for her love of growling and rumbling engines of old school muscle cars. She spent her whole life in the Midwest and still finds herself playing the same game she once played with her father when she was a young girl. It’s a game her father liked to call “Name that make and model”. This game has become more challenging as the years pass making it a great way to pass the time on long road trips. She believes that automobiles, old and new, are an art form that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
