For 2014, the Hyundai Veloster gets an additional Turbo R-Spec model to its lineup and the base model gets additional features like a rearview camera, LED daytime running lamps, and a new drivers side blind-spot mirror. Turbo models also see improved handling over the outgoing model.
The 2014 Hyundai Veloster is available in three trim levels- base, Turbo R-Spec, and Turbo.
Standard features found on the entry level model include a hidden third door on the passenger side, 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, dual chrome-tipped exhaust tips, heated mirrors, LED headlight accents, full power accessories, premium cloth upholstery, a 7-inch high-resolution LCD video touchscreen, Bluetooth® with voice recognition and a 6-speaker audio system with satellite radio and an iPod/USB/auxiliary input jack.
An optional Style Package will get you a panoramic sunroof, unique interior and exterior trim elements, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an upgraded sound system. A Technology Package is also available that will add 18-inch alloy wheels, auto on/off headlamps, push-button start, and navigation.
Stepping up to the new mid-level R-Spec will get you a manual transmission mated to a more powerful turbocharged 1.6-liter four cylinder, 18-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, a body kit, fog lamps, leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the premium sound system.
Opting for the Turbo will get you 18-inch alloy wheels, push-button start, heated front seats, and leather upholstery. An optional Ultimate package will add rear parking sensors, the panoramic sunroof, auto on/off head lamps, automatic climate control, and navigation.
Standard safety equipment includes electronic stability control, traction control, antilock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, a tire pressure monitoring system and six airbags. Backup warning sensors and a rearview camera are optional on both trim levels.
Prices for the 2014 Hyundai Veloster start at just under $18,000 for the entry level model and tops out around $27,000for the top-of-the-line time with all of the bells and whistles.
