The Ford Fiesta is available as a 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback. Both are great for budget mided buyers are offered with several features that generally aren’t found on subcompacts like hands-free Sync, push button start, ambient interior lighting, leather and heated front seats.

The Fiesta is powered by a 1.6-liter Duratec® I-4 engine that produces 120-hp and 112 lb.-ft. of torque. It is matted to your choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or an available 6-speed PowerShift™ automatic transmission. No, there isn’t a lot of power beneath the hood however steering is precise and the Fiesta exhibits excellent body control and handling through corners giving it a sportier feel.

Body Styles, Trims & Options
The 2013 Ford Fiesta was re- introduced in 2011 and receives a new trims and options structure for 2013. Packages group content and features together. Both the sedan and hatchback models are also now offered with the same trim levels and standard equipment.

The entry level S is as unembellished as they come- obviously a reflection of its price. Standard equipment includes 15-inch steel wheels, power mirrors and door locks, a 60/40 split rear seatback and a 4-speaker AM/FM stereo with an audio input jack. An available Convenience Package adds remote keyless entry, auto-locking doors and a 6-speaker audio system with a CD player and MP3 capability.

The mid-level SE adds features from the Convenience Package plus heated mirrors with turn signal indicators, cruise control, power windows, metallic interior accents and SYNC® with AppLink™63 that features a USB/iPod interface with voice activated controls, hands-free calling and various app-based services such as turn-by-turn directions, 411 search, news and sports.

Available packages for the SE include a Moon & Mood Manual Package, a Super Fuel Economy Package and a SE Appearance Package. The Moon & Mood Manual Package includes a moonroof, satellite radio, ambient interior lighting and a leather-trimmed shift knob. The Super Fuel Economy adds improved aerodynamic features to maximize MPG however it deletes the standard SYNC® package. The appearance package adds 15-inch alloy wheels, LED parking lamps, ambient interior lighting, satellite radio and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Steeping up to the top-of-the-line Titanium will tack on features like 16-inch alloy wheels, LED parking lamps, chrome exterior trim, push button start, ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated front seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Packages include Interior Style Packages that add exclusive interior colors for the seats and trim pieces.

The Ford Fiesta has managed to squeeze in 7 standard airbags including a driver knee airbag, side curtain airbags that extend to the second row, and driver and front passenger front airbags. Other standard safety equipment includes antilock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, integrated blind spot mirrors and AdvanceTrek® ESC that combines both traction control and electronic stability control.

When your mobile phone is connected to SYNC® and the 911 Assist™ feature is enabled, 911 Assist™ will help put you in touch with a 911 operator when the system is triggered by airbag deployment of fuel pump shutoff. If you are unable to speak, the system will automatically deliver an urgent message to a 911 emergency operator. Please note that this feature is not available on all trims.

Warranty Information
Every new Ford Fiesta comes with complimentary Roadside Assistance coverage for 5 years or 60,000 miles plus extended service plans are also available. Other new vehicle coverage includes a Bumper to Bumper Warranty for 3/36,000, a 5/60,000 Powertrain Warranty, a 5/60,000 Safety Restraint System Warranty, a Corrosion (Perforation Only) Warranty for 5/Unlimited miles, a 3/36,000 Emissions Defects Warranty and a 2/24,000 Emissions Performance Warranty. The California Emissions Warranty (Defects Short Term: 3/50,000 Long Term: 7/70,000; Performance: 3/50,000) will only apply to your new Flex if it will be registered in a state that has adopted and is enforcing California emission warranty regulations applicable at the time of repair and if the vehicle is certified for sale in the state of California.
